This is such a fun tradition to continue with our girls. Growing up with 2 very close friends who were ballerinas at PNB, this show was always very special. They would teach me the choreography to the dances they were learning and I did my best to imitate their grace. The other attachment I have to this show is that my wonderful voice teacher from high school sing mezzo soprano with the symphony. So I always get to say hi to her in the pit. Elena was a bit squirmy during the show, but the girls still had a great time. Dad - well, he probably would have preferred to be at a Nascar race.
