Daisy Cupcake

Well, we did it. We took the plunge. We are about to enter ... puppy land. It is a land I hear is filled with sleepless nights, potty training nightmares and endless joy. Hmmm ... sounds like an experience in my not to distant memory! The girls never thought we'd get a puppy. Because of allergies, we've always told them it wasn't an option. But when we researched hypo-allergenic dogs and happened upon the Havanese, we changed our minds. From all we have heard, these are about the most joyful, kid-friendly dogs you can find. We named her Daisy, after Ross's first dog. The girls got to pick the middle name. They chose cupcake - thus confirming our decision to let them pick the MIDDLE name. We took them out to meet Daisy after our mother's day celebration at the horse races. They had NO idea what we were up to - and boy were they surprised. Of course, now it's all they can talk about.

We pick up Miss Daisy Cupcake on June 27th. We can hardly wait. Until then, we join the ranks of the doggy obsessed and shop for the coolest collars and the "most awesome-ist" puppy crate.
